WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK ON A PRIVATE JET
Updated: Nov 4, 2020
Okay let's be honest here, being a flight attendant either commercial or corporate has MAJOR pros and MAJOR cons. If some 9 to 5 jobs are steady and offer you a balanced life yet end up often becoming boring at some point then this job takes you up high and at times really low aswell.
The beauty about this job
It's just like a crazy rollercoaster, it spins you around the world and sometimes throws you against the wall and thats just the reality and the beauty about it.
You find days thanking god for how blessed your life is and being amazed everything your eyes and soul experiences. It is definately fun to stay in 5* resorts and hotels and be able to visit the faraway exotic locations.
On the other hand sometimes the duty (working hours) is very long - even if one is in an amazing location one can barely experience it because after minimum rest there is another flight to operate. Sometimes you really miss home and don't understand why you always have to be that far away and miss the family gatherings.
Before being a corporate flight attendant I worked for Emirates Airlines, where the travel schedule was to work a few days and then have a few days off but now I work for 2 weeks and have 2 weeks off which in my case suits me way better as I find myself having a vacation every single month and I have enough time to rest and spend proper time with friends and family.
The major pros I was talking about..
I find myself having a vacation every single month and I have enough time to rest and spend proper time with friends and family.
Another thing I love about being a corporate flight attendant is being able to end up in the most faraway small unknown villages that you otherwise would have never maybe had a chance to visit but still have the opportunity to see all the major tourist meccas as well.
With just one year I managed to visit 20 countries with Emirates so I am looking forward to the countries I will be visiting this year being a corporate flight attendant.
